Taking in the warm sunlight and ocean breeze, Acchan looked out at the water while she waited for the next ship out from the island.

She had never been to Phoenicis before, and she hadn't been planning on going here. Not alone, anyway. But she had gotten lost a few days back and ended up taking a ship out to the island of the hawks. Acchan did look around for the sake of seeing everything nearby, as well as for the chance that maybe someone she knew happened to be wandering around here, too. After a few hours of sightseeing, she hadn't seen anyone familiar.

Although she did meet some really nice people here. The hawk laguz she chatted with were actually pretty friendly. They even took the time to explain some things to her, as well as point out the landmarks they could see from ground level at this particular spot in Phoenicis. There wasn't much - looking up, there was almost nothing but mountains as far as the eye could see - but it was a beautiful landscape.

Acchan wasn't planning on climbing any of those mountains, but she did take some photos of them on her phone so she could show her friends later. When she sat down on a bench near the docks, she took a photo of the ocean as well, then put her phone away so she could just sit back and enjoy the nice weather.

Phoenicis was an interesting place to Hackett. There were planets in his home world - so to speak, as they had space travel - that resembled the small island, only they had taken up the entire planet. Many of them were small planets and no where near the size of Earth or the Goddess' World, but it was interesting to remember that there were similarities between an Earth-like planet and the other planets.

Not that all of them were breathable.

After having taken a hike through some of the mountain range - there appeared to be a trail marked through them, a small one likely done so visitors like him could take a view of the mountains without traveling too far in - Hackett and Arc returned to the port. The small port had been built to accommodate the travels as it had been unnecessary in their home world.

It didn't look like a ship was in. Hackett could call the Citadel for a shuttle that would land right here, but he hated using his rank to get things others couldn't, especially when it wasn't important. No, he would wait like everyone else. Besides, it meant that he didn't have to rush back to the paperwork that was likely piling on his desk.

As he went to find a spot to wait, Arc floated off. It was a young girl who caught his interest. He floated up her head and said a little, "hello".

Acchan was used to seeing strange things. Being part of AKB0048 meant traveling from one place in space to another, each one different in its own unique way. Right now, she was stranded on this planet with Mayuyu and Kojiharu. But while there were many things here that she couldn't imagine seeing if she had been somewhere else, it was easy to start feeling like it was normal stuff after a while.

So she wasn't surprised when a little star floated over to greet her. He was so adorable, though!

"Oh, hi there!" she replied, smiling. "Are you waiting for a ship, too?" Maybe he could just fly from place to place, but it would still be a long trip to either of the two known continents. Acchan knew that some flying creatures could cross such long distances without taking too much time, but she wasn't sure if this little guy was one of them.

He might be. Never judge a book by its cover!

Arc seemed delighted that the girl noticed him. He really liked her outfit. She as so pretty too. He wondered what she was doing out here. Was she exploring around like he and his uncle were? That seemed to be the norm in this world. Arc wasn't usually exploring anywhere but the Citadel, where he had become a regular sight for the residents there. A lot of people didn't, if they had regular jobs. to do. Uncle Steven had a regular job to do, so it was always fun when they got to go out.

"I'm traveling with my uncle!" he said, using the small stub of his star to point out Hackett. Hackett took that as a cue to come over, giving the girl a small nod of his head. "We need to take the ship back so we can get on the shuttle and go home!" He paused for a moment, after saying all of that really fast. "My name is Arcturus! But, you can call me Arc!"

Hackett smiled slightly at the luma's enthusiastic introduction before adding, "And, I'm Admiral Steven Hackett of the Citadel." He left off the Alliance Systems for the moment. They weren't as active out here, not without their space stations, colonies and Earth. For now, the Citadel was one and the same instead of separate armies all trying to figure out which one them deserved the most power.
