Wasn't this a nice little change of pace? Admittedly the demigod hadn't been expecting to be recognized as a spirit by the workers of the bathhouse, but really, he was almost glad they had. He could use a distraction from his recent thoughts of how the other's were doing. It always caught him off guard when he found himself missing people from Shibuya. The last thing he wanted to think about was how the city was doing without him in the UG looking after it. Three weeks had left it in shambles, and here it was, four months away from his post. Being MIA is completely unheard of, so he can't imagine the disarray of his city and his friends right about now, if they were even alive.

A chill shot down his spine despite it being rather warm in the bathhouse, but he said nothing. His problems were his own and he would rather not tell anyone about it. Especially not Rhyme. He followed the frog spirit for a moment before slipping away from view. There were many different spirits here , but there was the odd group of humans here and there. He found it fascinating since it had been years upon years since he'd been in a bathhouse.

Squeezing past one of the lager patrons, he slid open the door leading out onto the walkway and sat down, looking up at the night sky. He wasn't much of a fan of getting wet, but he may go back in after a bit... Once he'd gotten tired of the quiet atmosphere outside. For now he was content to gaze at the sky.

Footsteps behind him alerted him to the fact that he wasn't as alone as he thought, and the boy gave a quiet hum of lightly veiled amusement, "Well well, who might you be?"

Dovahkiin
© Jessica // CURRENTLY Offline

There were no bathhouses in Skyrim. If one needed to bathe, they either had to have one already in their home - normally reserved for the rich - or they had to do so in a natural body of water. Skyrim, as a whole, was never the cleanest province. Nords didn't care too much for bathing if they were busy in the wild. It was the Imperials who, he found anyways, to be the most likely to nag someone about their personal hygiene.

Even being here reeked of cleanliness to Dovahkiin, and he wasn't sure he liked how it smelled. His nose was more sensitive than the regular human's. He was a werewolf as well, and that had helped to enhance a variety of his senses, his sense of smell being the one he utilized the most when he was not in his wolf form. There was something about the smell of soap and shampoos that filled the bathhouse that he didn't like. He much preferred the scents of the outdoors.

But, he was here anyways, as it was normal for him to explore every place he could. He had not been expecting the attendants here to strip him and force him into a bath because they thought he reeked, but that was exactly what had happened. He had complained - and loudly - but eventually he had consented. They had offered to polish and look after his armor and weapons, which was something that was more appealing to him than a bath itself, and so he now found himself wandering the hallways of the bathhouse wearing nothing but a towel. Some people stared at him, but he assumed it was for the massive amount of scars that littered his body and not because of his stench.

Right now, he smelled just as nice and clean as everyone else here. He was going to have to roll around in the Deep Roads for some time to get rid of it.

Dovahkiin made his way to an outdoor walkway, as being inside with some many people was suffocating for him. But, when he stepped outside, it was already occupied.

"Dovahkiin," he said immediately in response to the question. It wasn't a brag when he called himself the dragonborn like that. It was what he was, and he was so used to the people of Skyrim forgetting his real name that he simply address himself as his title instead. If he wanted to brag, he would have attached all the other needless titles to it.

He stepped outside onto the walkway itself and went to lean against the building's wall. It was nicer out here without the hot air instead the bathhouse pressing down on him.

The Warrior of Light
© Draco // CURRENTLY Offline

In the realm that the Warrior of Light had originated from, there had been baths in nearly every single in that he had visited on his journey. He’d even had one in the estate that he had lived in once upon a time, in a time where he had gone by his own name. But that was then, and this was now. All the adventuring he had done and was doing impaired his ability to bathe regularly.

As was such, when he had stumbled into Konoha and found his way to the bathhouse, he had been ushered in at the insistence of a few of the workers. It took a lot of coaxing for him to even have the armour removed or his helmet. He was attached to his armour and didn’t want just anyone touching it. In the end, he was left with a simple white robe and a bath towel, wandering the bathhouse.

Walking through the bathhouse, the Warrior of Light listened to the people that were working about or enjoying the services. Apparently, this bathhouse originally served the spiritual world. If he had to be honest, the Warrior couldn’t say that he believed in such spiritual beliefs before now.

He had found a door leading to the outside patio, and moved to step outside. Just as he had, he heard a voice calling out, and another responding. Turned out, he hadn’t stepped out to peace and quiet, but instead in the middle of a conversation just to his right. A tall, thick man and a small teenager, in fact. The Warrior stiffened, not entirely sure if they wanted him involved.

The demigod nearly commented on the strange nature of Dovahkiin's name before remembering that there were those here from worlds vastly different than his own. The large, buff man didn't seem to be the most approachable. The amount of scars he was covered in spoke of difficult battles, and a possible difficult life on top of that, but conjecture was pointless when you don't have enough to base it on in the first place. Joshua simply found entertainment in guessing and comparing first impressions to reality later on.

And then another variable entered the fold. Joshua looked up as another large man joined them on the walkway, this one with silvery hair and piercing eyes. On top of that, he was giant. At least a foot taller than Joshua, and the Composer wasn't completely sure why he found that to be unsettling. Perhaps it was because most of the men in his little corner of Tokyo didn't get that tall, but tall people had never bothered him before. Joshua pushed those thoughts aside so that he could address the man, "Why so stiff? I don't bite." He couldn't promise about Dovahkiin, however.

Speaking of, he hadn't introduced himself yet, had he? "Nice to meet you both. My name is Yoshiya Kiryu." Accompanying the introduction was his signature condescending smile, though it was a touch softer than it normally was. New people intrigued him, so he would try to be nice.

Dovahkiin
© Jessica // CURRENTLY Offline

The boy looked small to Dovahkiin, but that was probably because he himself was fairly tall and he came from a place where the mer lived, and they were known for growing to heights that were uncommon for humans like himself, though Nords were typically taller than most other human races in Tamriel. He didn't look like he would fit much into Tamriel, as he was pale like a Nord would be, but he still didn't have the look to him. Dovahkiin didn't question it, though. In Skyrim, one was used to warriors and hardened people because of the cold and unforgiving landscape there. It was something people grew in to, whether they wanted to or not. He knew it was not the same here. For all he knew, this boy could smite him in one blow.

Dovahkiin wasn't much of a conversationalist, but he didn't find any form of silence between them awkward, either. He was used to crowds where people were more likely to leave him alone. But, they weren't alone for long as another joined them.

This one had a look of a warrior about him, but Dovahkiin decided it was from a decidedly different world than his own. That was a thing that always interested him - seeing how different people who were both classified as fighters were when they were raised in very different places. He wondered if this one had demon gods breathing down his neck, probably debating over who got to have his soul.

It was most likely going to be Akatosh, though Dovahkiin would have loved to see any agreement Hircine would come up with. He was rather fond of the Daedric Prince.

"It's a pleasure as well, Yoshiya" Dovahkiin said in return, even if it didn't sound like him. He wasn't the person who had a way with words. He left that to the nobility and their political games. He was the sword. He repeated the boy's name to make sure he said it correctly. The mispronunciation of a name seemed like a silly thing to get annoyed over, but he felt it was respect to not do something like that.

He glanced at the other warrior, wondering what his response would be. Yoshiya had said he didn't bite, but that wasn't so true with the Dovahkiin. He was a werewolf, after all. He did eat people before. He just wasn't planning on it right now.
