Standing at the top of the building - one of the few still intact - Dylas looked out at the landscape before him. While he couldn't exactly call it cheerful, it wasn't empty. Empty implied that there wasn't anything here, and even he was smart enough to know that this place was actually the opposite.

As long as these ruins stood here, then there were fragments of what life here was back before it was destroyed. History. Memories. Enough to give him a headache if he continued that line of thinking... or maybe that was just the kingdom's overall feel talking. Dylas was sensitive to life forces and here, there were none. Empty, it wasn't, but the kingdom was dead.

Kind of sucked, in a way. These ruins covered quite a bit of the moon's surface. Must've been a pretty grand kingdom.

Dylas sat down at the corner of the rooftop. If it wasn't for the fact that there was no breeze, he could almost forget that he was currently underneath a giant dome. Anyway, it was a pretty quiet place; after wandering busy cities and that whole thing that happened at the lake, he could use a break. Keeping an eye on the cluttered streets below, he doubted that he would see anyone for a while.

Sometimes being around people, particularly new people, just grated on his anxiety after a while. Vivi liked to have privacy when he wanted to think, and he couldn't seem to find any of that, even at home with his new papa and uncle. Having heard that going to space was a possibility here, Vivi thought it would be a good place to start, but hadn't expected it to be so crowded. The citadel had been a shock to his system, however upon wandering out to the ruins, he found that the citadel seemed to be the only populated part of the moon.

The young mage's gaze was cast upwards at the dome above, idly wondering just how far he was from his friends. They had to be worried by now, but maybe his being here was better than he had originally thought. Morgan had mentioned that his lifespan had likely been extended, and he was grateful for that regardless of the motives behind the gesture. He only wished his friends were there with him.

Quietly the child pushed a piece of rubble around with his foot, lost in his thoughts as he wandered what had been a kingdom at one point. Vivi's golden eyes scanned the broken pillars and collapsed buildings with a curiosity that he could never seem to sate. He wanted to know about all of these strange places, where they came from and the stories they held. What they had been like on their world of origin, and many other things, A good many of which, he figured no one would be able to answer for him. No one except maybe the Goddess and he was more than a little intimidated at the prospect of meeting her, ever.

An odd purple spot on the roof of one of the only structurally sound buildings left caught Vivi's attention, and he became acutely aware of the fact that he was likely not the only one who came out here to think, or maybe even to admire the ruins. The place looked as if it had been very pretty at one point, and the little boy saw charm in it still. Afraid of startling the person perched up there, Vivi remained silent for now. There were little to no sounds within the dome, so voices tended to carry better than one might expect. Only once Vivi had made his way near the building did he greet the person with a shy, "Hello."

Dylas' ears twitched. There was a voice - a shy one, but loud and clear enough to him. Turning his gaze downwards, he spotted a small figure at ground level, staring up at him. There was nobody else in sight, so the kid was definitely the one who had called out to him.

Well, damn. He had figured he would've been alone for a while. At least it was just one person. Back in the Citadel, he probably would've bumped into, pissed off or gotten angry at several people by now. That space station always seemed to be so damn busy. Which was why Dylas never bothered to go there much, even if he could find a reason to.

"Hey." His response was just loud enough to be carried down to the boy with no problems. Dylas wasn't one for raising his voice, unless he was arguing with someone. Or yelling at them. Usually Doug. Idiot dwarf... Dylas was actually starting to miss getting into fights with him. Sometimes, he wondered if he would ever see anyone from Selphia ever again.
