Whatever the reason the rider was in such a hurry to get to the District for, they had to find that key. Cinnamon walked along the wall, searching, but it was the warrior who spotted something first. The Reploid got closer and saw what he had found. A nail? In a place that a nail like it wouldn't normally be. Attached to it was a string, and on that string...

"Is that the key?" If so, then they found it! There shouldn't be any other kinds of keys dangling in strange places like this. Nobody would leave a key out in a place where it would easily get lost or stolen. So this had to be the key that they were looking for.

"If the key's here..." Cinnamon paused as she processed her thoughts. "...then the chest shouldn't be too far away." The Goddess was mean sometimes, but she always seemed to give people a fighting chance. There wouldn't be much fun in putting the chest somewhere really, really far away, where anyone who found the key wouldn't be able to travel to it in time. The chest had to be somewhere the person with the key could reach it.

The chest should be near; Cinnamon was right. They had found the key, so now the priority was to get the chest as quickly as possible.

"Cinnamon, locate the chest while I pull the key up," he ordered. It would be a lot better for them if one of them did one task and the other did the second task. It would move things a lot faster.

The string that held up the key was thin and light. That was worrisome to Dovahkiin as he could feel the weight of the key readily on the string. It was heavier than the string should have been allowed to carry. If he dropped it, it would mean having to go to the other side of the wall to try and find it.

He took it gingerly in his fingers, a task that was only comfortable to him as he had spent his share of time lockpicking, which was a delicate procedure. Very carefully, he started to haul the key up.

There was a shout from below, causing Dovahkiin to look over his shoulder. Something was moving on the horizon.

The titan was approaching.

"Okay..." It had to be nearby. Cinnamon was sure of that. She looked around, peering over the wall a few times in case it was located somewhere over the edge and had to be climbed to. If it was, then she had no idea if she could reach it. Cinnamon didn't think she would be a very good climber.

Fortunately, she didn't have to do any climbing at all.

Cinnamon spotted a piece of the wall that didn't look quite right to her. As she got closer, she realized it wasn't part of the wall at all, but some kind of camouflage. She got her fingers around the edges and pulled it up, and hiding underneath was a chest. There would be only one reason why a chest was up here.

"Mister!" she called, waving to him. "I found it!" And not a moment too soon - a large being appeared on the horizon.

Dovahkiin pulled the string carefully, moving it slowly inch by inch. It seemed like it was going very slowly, and time was passing by in just the same way. He didn't like it, but he still didn't want to risk dropping the key at any point. He would have to climb over the wall and use one of his Shouts to stop the drop from being damaging.

Dovahkiin made a quick glance over his shoulder. That titan.... it was a lot closer to the District than it had been a moment before. It was jogging now.

Shit.

"Faster, dammit," he muttered to himself as he continued to pull the key up. In a moment - a moment that felt too long - Dovahkiin had the key in his hand.

He dropped the string and stood away from the wall. "Catch!" he said, tossing the key Cinnamon's way. He was already turning back to look at the titan. He was drawing his sword, ready to head that way, just in case he needed to book it over that way as quickly as possible.

The titan already looked like it was picking up speed...
